Lower East Side Resources
There are many resources available for those thinking of
buying or selling property on the Lower East Side. These are
the ones I find most useful or entertaining.
- The
Lower East Side Business Improvement District, with
useful maps and information on events, destinations, transportation,
services, and business.
- Three of the four large Co-ops are online. As of this
writing, purchase applications are not online, but
I can get them for you.
- There are several thriving online communities where residents
of the Lower East Side Co-ops share their stories, ideas
and concerns:
- The best-selling "Real
Estates for Dummies" is now available online through
the Prudential Elliman website. The book is packed full
of clear, practical information about buying, selling, and
financing property.
- Last but not least, for the true real estate junky, a
national realty site that has its roots on the Lower East
Side: Curbed.com.
